Window Cleaning in Saffron Walden

We clean windows the traditional way — applicator and squeegee, warm soapy water and a careful hand that leaves glass crisp and streak-free, with frames and sills wiped down as standard. For upper-floor and hard-to-reach windows we switch to a pure-water pole that reaches up to four storeys safely from the ground — no ladders leant against your property.

What's involved

How we approach Window cleaning work

Window cleaning starts with an assessment of the property — how many windows, what height, and whether there are any access considerations. For ground-floor and easily reached windows we clean the traditional way: applicator and squeegee with warm soapy water, finishing each pane by hand so glass, frames and sills come out crisp and streak-free.

For upper-floor and hard-to-reach windows we switch to a pure-water pole — a telescopic carbon-fibre pole with a soft brush head fed with deionised water. The brush agitates dirt and mineral deposits from every surface; because deionised water contains no dissolved minerals it evaporates completely clean — no spots, no residue. The pole reaches up to four storeys safely from the ground, so there are no ladders leant against your property.

We clean frames and sills as a matter of course — a clean window with a dirty frame just looks wrong. Whatever the height, the result is the same: glass you can see clearly through.

Traditional clean, done by hand

We clean the traditional way — applicator, squeegee and a practised hand — getting glass, frames and sills properly clean with a crisp, streak-free finish every time.

High windows — up to four storeys

For upper floors and hard-to-reach glass we use a pure-water pole that reaches up to four storeys safely from the ground — no ladders against your property.

Questions

Common questions about Window cleaning

How often should windows be cleaned?

For most homes, every 4–8 weeks keeps windows looking their best and prevents the build-up of algae and mineral deposits that become harder to shift over time. We offer 4-weekly, 6-weekly and 8-weekly regular schedules, or a one-off clean if that suits you better.

Do you need access to my water supply or power?

Usually not — we bring our own equipment. If we need to top up water we may ask to use an outside tap, but we'll always check with you first. We don't need a power connection.
